UltraMagic Balloons began building balloons in 1985, after spending seven years constructing and flying different designs in Spain and Africa. UltraMagic builds seven standard models (Series H, M, MV, N, S, V, Z - ranging from 42,000 to 355,000 cubic feet), Special Shapes and Cold Air Inflatables. All envelopes, baskets and burners are built in UltraMagic's factory to assure quality control. The factory is located in Igualada, Spain, one hour west of Barcelona. All UltraMagic Balloons are designed by an aeronautical engineer and constructed by a full time staff of 20 skilled craft persons. UltraMagic Balloons have been exported to 24 countries and sales are growing. The company attributes their growth to high quality and value in the ballooning marketplace.
Envelopes:
Envelopes are designed in series for specific ballooning needs, desires and applications. The H and S series are 12 and 16-gore designs for lighter envelope weight and sport/adventure flying (the larger S series are perfect for passenger operations). The M series is a 24-gore smooth paneled balloon, excellent for artwork and logos, ranging from 65,000 to 145,000 cubic feet. The N series is the expansion of the M series into a 28-gore big balloon passenger fleet. The V series is a super smooth 48-gore advertising/artwork balloon. The Z series is a special sport package system and the MV is a specific design type competition racer.
Baskets:
UltraMagic baskets are well known throughout Europe for their quality and appealing shape that protects passengers and fuel cylinders. Made from the finest materials, they can be customized with colored wicker, leather and suede. Features include: Hard plywood floors, Non skid finish, Superior rattan and can - lightly woven for greater strength, Stainless steel upper frame and corners, two stainless steel cables for each corner, Steps on two sides, The finest suede and trim with natural leather base. All baskets include fire extinguisher and cover. Special needs can be accommodated.
Burners:
UltraMagic MK-10 Plus has been designed with the criteria of comfort and reliability, the MK-10 Plus is one of the most powerful and quiet burners on the market. UltraMagic created the Plus with the private and commercial pilot in mind. The Plus is lightweight, ergonomic and capable to withstand heavy tether conditions with a strong flame. As the final Plus a significant importance has been given to the price. which you can compare. Options include Liquid or Vapor Pilot, Adjustable height, Electric blast valves and choice of burner color.
