Eagle Balloons

HISTORY OF EAGLE

Eagle Balloons “formerly Semco” has been manufacturing
balloon systems since 1961 long before balloons were gov-
erned by the FAA and needed to be type certified. Eagle
Balloons was the first to have their balloon type certified.
Our goal was to manufacture a balloon system which the
average public could afford and enjoy. This attitude is the
core of Eagle Balloons still today.

For over 36yearswe have beenperfectingour promiseto
produce anoutstanding balloon.

In July of 1979, the oldest balloon manufacturing company
was purchased and became Eagle Balloons. At this time
Eagle underwent a period of research, development, testing
and modifications creating the well known commercial
advertising balloon which to this day is still the smoothest
gored balloon available.

Eagle owners range from pleasure pilots to National Com-
mercial clients such as Domino’s Pizza, Union Pacific, Dole
Pineapple and Apple Computers. We also created and owned
the breathtaking Montgolfier balloon which was built in
1983 in celebration of the 200th Anniversary of Manned
Flight.

LAST AND LASTS

The Eagle envelope is constructed from our durable rip-stop
nylon. We have the lightest and most durable envelope on
the market today. Our variety of patterns allow the most
creative person to satisfy their palette. Our horizontal, ver-
tical and chevron patterns allow the utmost flexibility in
design. Our ability to reproduce images onto the surface of
the envelope offers an exciting option for our commercial
customers and pilots who prefer an out of the ordinary
balloon.

Our envelope is fuel efficient, cool flying and has a powerful
personality.

Everyone can claim they have the longest envelope on the
market today, but only Eagle Balloons has envelopes out
there still flying strong with over 700 hours on them.

EAGLE SYSTEM FEATURES

Every envelope can be customized using any of the standard
17 colors we have available. The “hot colors” are available
at an additional cost. The envelopes are constructed with the
same long lasting rip-stop nylon. The parachute valve is
standard in all Eagle envelopes. A Nomex skirt, black or
white load tapes, stainless steel suspension cable of Kevlar,
solid color or multicolored parachute valve. (Standard items
